গণস্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রে প্লাজমা দেবেন মরণঘাতী করোনাভাইরাস থেকে সেরে উঠা বিএনপির সংরক্ষিত নারী আসনের সংসদ সদস্য ব্যারিস্টার রুমিন ফারহানা। আগামীকাল বুধবার আলোচিত এ নারী সংসদ সদস্য প্লাজমা দেবেন বলে জানা গেছে।

আজ মঙ্গলবার বিষয়টি জানিয়েছেন গণস্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রের প্রেস উপদেষ্টা জাহাঙ্গীর আলম মিন্টু।
এক বার্তায় তিনি জানান, ব্যারিস্টার রুমিন ফারহানা আগামীকাল বুধবার ধানমণ্ডি গণস্বাস্থ্য নগর হাসপাতালের প্লাজমা ও ব্লাড ডোনেশন সেন্টারে বেলা সাড়ে ১১টায় প্লাজমা দান করবেন। গণস্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ও ট্রাস্টি ডা. জাফরুল্লাহ চৌধুরীও এ সময় উপস্থিত থাকবেন।

জানা যায়, সম্প্রতি রুমিন ফারহানা কোভিড-১৯ আক্রান্ত হন। গত ১২ আগস্ট নিজের ভেরিফায়েড ফেসবুক পেজে স্ট্যাটাস দিয়ে নিজেই বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেন তিনি। পরে গত সোমবার গণমাধ্যমকে তিনি জানান, তার করোনা পরীক্ষার রিপোর্ট নেগেটিভ এসেছে।
উল্লেখ্য, একাদশ জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচনে বিএনপির একমাত্র নারী সদস্য হিসেবে জাতীয় সংসদে প্রতিনিধিত্ব করছেন ব্যারিস্টার রুমিন। বিএনপি থেকে মনোনয়ন পেয়ে সংরক্ষিত নারী আসন (৫০) থেকে বিনা প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতায় সংসদ সদস্য নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন রুমিন ফারহানা।
