সরকারি সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী বেসরকারি হাসপাতাল ও স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্রে ২৫০ রুপিতে প্রতিডোজ করোনার টিকা মিলবে ভারতে। গতকাল শনিবার এমনটা জানিয়েছে দেশটির স্বাস্থ্য মন্ত্রণালয়।

এনডিটিভির খবরে বলা হয়, টিকাদান কার্যক্রমে অন্তর্ভুক্ত হচ্ছে ১০ হাজারের বেশি বেসরকারি হাসপাতাল ও স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্র। সেখানে ২৫০ রুপি করে গুনতে হবে প্রতি ডোজে।
তবে সরকারি হাসপাতাল ও স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্রগুলোতে বিনা মূল্যে টিকাদান অব্যাহত থাকবে বলে জানানো হয়েছে। ভারতে চলতি বছরের গত ১৬ জানুয়ারি থেকে গণহারে টিকাদান কার্যক্রম শুরু হয়, যা আগামী সোমবার থেকে সম্প্রসারিত হতে যাচ্ছে।

দেশটিতে অক্সফোর্ড-অ্যাস্ট্রাজেনেকার উদ্ভাবিত ও সেরাম ইনস্টিটিউট উৎপাদিত ‘কোভিশিল্ড’ ও ভারত বায়োটের ‘কোভ্যাক্সিন’ দেয়া হচ্ছে।
সারা বিশ্বে করোনায় বিপর্যস্ত দেশগুলোর মধ্যে দ্বিতীয় অবস্থানে রয়েছে ভারত। ভাইরাসটিতে এখন পর্যন্ত ১ কোটি ১১ লাখ মানুষ সংক্রমিত এবং ১ লাখ ৫৭ হাজার মারা গেছেন।
